Hello, I am Grace

As you may have guessed, I have a passion for relationship therapy specialising in sex, intimacy and shame. It feels to me like there has been a cultural shift in the way we view intimacy and how we communicate with people we love.
I feel that people are lost and lonely, they don’t know who they are and feel like they can’t measure up to the fake world we see on the internet and in social media. I want to help; I feel so passionate about helping people discover who they are and what they want out of life.

I am passionate about healing trauma, whether this is childhood trauma, sexual trauma or trauma in adulthood. I want to support you to make sense of your experiences and how they are effecting your life currently.

From me, to you
In my individual therapy sessions, my goal is to help you find your passion, help you find the joy in your life and live wholeheartedly. I want to support you in recognising your patterns by giving space for your thoughts and feelings. This work is my passion and brings me joy.
I have worked in sexual assault and domestic abuse for several years now. I have seen the devastation this causes, and the shame that is held on to after. I want you to know now; that it was not your fault, and you didn’t ask for or deserve it. It does not define you. I can support you to let go of your shame and move to a place of healing. If you have experienced abuse, I want to help empower you to move on, build self-esteem and self-worth again, trust and enjoy a healthy relationship, own your body and enjoy sex again.
In my couples therapy, I aim to support you both to rediscover effective communication and focus on appreciating your partner’s wonderful positive qualities rather than dwelling on the negatives.
Connections and communication are essential for a successful relationship. I aim to support you in discovering who you are in your relationship, do you like who you are in your relationship?
Let’s build back the intimacy that has been lost and learn how to communicate your wants, needs and desires effectively.
Qualifications
I love learning, I love knowledge I am a self-proclaimed theory nerd. I am a big fan of the neuroscience behind why we love, therefore I do offer some psychoeducation in our sessions.

And for those who would like to know, here is a list of the courses I have attended, which, I feel, gives you a flavour of me, my interests and my practice.
